Seascape Beach Activities

Orient yourself to the area by taking a slow drive along Scenic Highway 30-A. Stop when something strikes your fancy (and plenty will) as you traverse the 26-mile stretch between Seascape, Walton County's westernmost coastal town, and Inlet Beach.

Emerald green waters and gulf breezes welcome golfers year-round. With 18 challenging holes designed by famed course architect Joe Lee, Seascape's par 71, 6,100-yard championship course poses a unique challenge to players of every skill level. The course is situated among a series of fresh water and coastal dune lakes and features breathtaking views of Florida's Gulf Coast from many holes. Fifteen of the eighteen holes have water features. Each course offers its own unique attributes, and all share the destination's mild climate, making Seascape a great year-round golf getaway.

Golf is by no means the only game in town. Seascape is well known as one of the top tennis resorts in the U.S. because of its eight lighted tennis courts, professional staff and extensive instructional program. For those who need a break from competition, Seascape also offers heated swimming pools and bike trails.

As the home to 17 freshwater and saltwater lakes as well as the Choctawhatchee Bay, Beaches of South Walton can please even the most serious angler or fly fisherman. From the beach, lines are cast into breaking waves in hopes of catching the perfect pompano, bluefish or Spanish mackerel. For thrill-seekers, private fishing charter trips escort visitors into Florida's Gulf Coast, where they search the vast blues for grouper, snapper and even amberjack. But anglers seeking a relaxing day of quiet solitude look no further than Choctawhatchee Bay.
